MYTHIC+ & CRAFTING
Mythic+ Gear and Crafting Priority
Mythic+ rewards are unpredictable. A stable plan secures reliable crafted upgrades while keeping several dungeon-drop candidates available instead of waiting for one perfect item.
Consider crafting non-Mythic weapons and shields first
When a Mythic-raid-level weapon or shield is not realistically available, a current-season crafted option is given priority. Weapon item level often directly affects attack power or spell power, while shields are central to defensive value.
The recommendation is specialization-aware. Only usable one-handed, two-handed, ranged, dual-wield, off-hand, and shield combinations remain. If an equal or stronger weapon is already equipped, another weak slot takes priority.
Do not break a tier bonus for a minor crafted gain
Head, shoulders, chest, hands, and legs are the five tier candidates. Crafting in those slots should be considered only after checking the remaining four-piece combination and the Catalyst plan.
Non-tier slots, large item-level gaps, and slots where preferred secondary stats can be guaranteed usually produce safer crafting value.
Farm a candidate pool, not a single item
Compare the first, second, and third ranked items together with their source dungeons. Unique trinket effects deserve more weight, while ordinary armor is judged through item level and the useful secondary-stat gain.
Recalculate crafting after opening the Great Vault. This prevents spending materials on a slot that has already been solved by a strong weekly reward.
