How LOGMATE Calculates Recommendations

A recommendation is useful only when its reasoning is visible. LOGMATE favors comparable evidence over a hidden universal score.

01

Step 1: collect choices from the same specialization

Current-season Mythic+ and raid characters are grouped by specialization, then their item usage is ranked by slot. Mythic+ and raid candidates remain separate so their sources and contexts stay clear.

Rankings are observations of the current season and can change with tuning and strategy. A single character or a weak sample is not enough for a definitive label.

02

Step 2: apply equipment and tier rules

Unusable weapon types and invalid one-hand, two-hand, dual-wield, ranged, off-hand, or shield combinations are removed. Four tier pieces are planned from the five candidate slots, with the remaining slot available for a non-tier option.

For a character that already has four pieces, the upgrade order avoids temporarily breaking the bonus. Catalyst eligibility is included as supporting evidence.

03

Step 3: add crafting value and secondary-stat balance

A usable crafted weapon or shield is considered first when no Mythic-level equivalent is equipped. Other crafted slots are compared by tier conflict, item-level gain, and the value of guaranteed secondary stats.

Remaining armor choices compare the character’s current distribution with top-player patterns. BIS is used only when the effect and data clearly support a unique winner; otherwise the result stays a ranked recommendation.
